What it changes
The benefits
Four families for the outside of the house, from the lightest to the sturdiest: the solar shade that cuts the sun without blocking insects, the insect screen that does the opposite, and the roller shutter that adds a physical barrier. Each family has its full page, with its dimensions, motorization and warranty.
A range for every need
From the light shade of a guided shade to the protection of an aluminum roller shutter.
Motorizable everywhere
All four families can be motorized with Somfy, to control everything from a remote or an app.
Designed for Quebec winters
Our exterior shades and shutters are chosen for our climate, with the usual precautions in case of freezing.
How it works
Our exterior families
- Exterior solar shades (Zip Track)Fabric held in side tracks on both sides: wind, insects and sun stay outside. In high demand for terraces.
- Guided exterior shadesCables or rails, motorized or with a crank — a lighter, more affordable alternative to Zip Track.
- Motorized exterior insect screensThe same side-track system as Zip Track, in insect screen fabric: zero bugs, and the air keeps flowing.
- Motorized roller shuttersAn aluminum barrier in front of the window: complete darkness, insulation, and one more obstacle against break-ins.

Zip Track or roller shutter?
The Zip Track shade filters light and heat, but it's still fabric: it offers no security against a break-in. The aluminum roller shutter creates complete darkness and forms a real locked barrier. We often install both, each in its place: shade on the terrace, security on the windows.

Frequently asked questions
We answer
What's the difference between Zip Track and guided shades?
Zip Track holds the fabric in a real side track on both sides: nothing gets through, neither wind nor insects. Guided shades (cables or rails) are lighter and more affordable, but hold up less well in the wind and don't block insects.
Does it stand up to Quebec winters?
Yes, our shades and shutters are built to operate in our climate. The basic rule: never operate an exterior system that's caught in ice or frost.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the family, the size and the operation. Text us a photo of your terrace or window at (514) 967-3629 to get started; the firm price comes after the measurements are verified.
Where do you install them?
The West Island and Montreal, Vaudreuil-Dorion, the South Shore, the North Shore, western Laval, and the Eastern Townships with our team on site. Elsewhere, depending on the project.
