Le Gars des Stores is the business name of 9296-6514 Québec inc., 200 Castle Rd, Beaconsfield, Quebec H9W 2V6. We sell and install custom blinds, shades, curtains, shutters and roller shutters in the Greater Montreal area.
Pierre-Marc Lareau, president, is the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question, or any request for access, correction or withdrawal of consent: pm@legarsdesstores.com or (514) 967-3629.
Only what we need to respond to your request and complete your project: your name, your phone number, your email, your address or postal code, the details of your project (products, measurements, number of windows) and the photos you choose to send us. For businesses, the name of the company. With a request sent through the website, we also include the page you arrived on, the site you came from (for example, Google) and, if applicable, the advertising campaign: it helps us know which pages and ads are useful. No cookie is used for this.
To prepare a quote for you, schedule a measuring or installation appointment, follow up on your project, invoice you, honour our warranties and respond to your service requests. We never sell your information.
We use the information you provide to respond to your request and to follow up on the service. Promotional messages require separate consent: the box is unchecked to begin with, and you are the one who checks it. You can withdraw this consent at any time, for example by replying STOP or ARRÊT to a text message. See also our text messaging terms.
We share some information with providers solely to deliver our services: GoHighLevel, Twilio, FreshBooks, QuickBooks, Monday.com, Google, Vercel, Anthropic (chat assistant) and ElevenLabs (assistant voice). Some may process data outside Quebec, including in the United States. We limit the information we share and apply the required safeguards.
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits and page views without cookies or cross-site tracking. Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, if they are turned on, are only turned on with your consent. You can change this choice at any time.
Anyone who has the link to your “My project” moodboard can see the choices, first name, comments and approvals it contains, and duplicate it. Don't enter any sensitive information in it. The project is erased after one year without changes. Google sign-in is optional and lets you find your projects again; we keep your first name and a protected fingerprint of your email address.
The website offers an automated assistant (artificial intelligence) to answer questions about our products. The messages you write in it are sent to Anthropic, PBC (United States), which processes them to produce the answer; we do not keep these conversations. If you use the microphone, dictation is done by your device or browser (Apple or Google) and only the resulting text is sent to us; answers are read aloud by a speech synthesis service (ElevenLabs or Google), from the answer text only, or by your device. During a conversation started with the microphone, it may stay on while the assistant speaks, so that you can interrupt it; the “Stop” button or closing the window turns it off. “Talk with Julia” is a voice conversation: your voice is sent to ElevenLabs (United States), which transcribes it and produces the answers; the conversation (audio and text) is kept there for 30 days, then erased. At the end, the transcript is sent to us only if you left a phone number or an email in it. If you choose to leave your contact information in the assistant, it is saved in our customer management software, just like the quote form. Don't write any sensitive information in the assistant.
We keep our customers' files for 10 years, so that we can honour our 10-year warranty. After that, the information is destroyed or anonymized.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent, ask that it stop being disseminated, or ask that it be sent to you. Write to us at pm@legarsdesstores.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI).
Access to your information is limited to the people who need it to handle your file. In the event of a confidentiality incident that could cause you serious harm, we will notify you, as well as the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.
With your consent only, we would like to measure site traffic (Google Analytics) and the performance of our ads (Meta). Cookies that are essential for the site to work are always on. Privacy policy
