01 — At a glance
What it does, simply.
These wall switches operate Somfy's wired (AC) 120 V motors. They install in a single-gang electrical box, like a light switch, and are connected to 120 V by an electrician.
The single-pole models, toggle style, operate one motor; the double-pole model, Decora style, operates two, according to Somfy's diagrams. A maintained switch stays in the position chosen; a momentary switch returns to the centre as soon as it is released.
Hard-wired
No battery: the switch is wired to the motor and to 120 V.
Single-gang box
It installs in a standard rectangular electrical box.
One or two motors
Single-pole for one motor, double-pole for two.
Maintained or momentary
Two modes of operation, depending on the model chosen.
White
Wall plate sold separately.
For 120 V motors
Designed for Somfy's AC motor range.

04 — What to consider
Before you buy, good to know…
- For wired motors only. These switches operate wired 120 V Somfy motors, such as the Sonesse 40 WT in our lineup. Our RTS and Zigbee motors are operated wirelessly: for them, the Smoove, the DecoFlex or a remote.
- Electrician required for the 120 V connection. Somfy asks that each motor's limits be set before wiring.
- Wall plate sold separately, according to Somfy.
05 — Frequently asked questions
What customers ask.
Can I use it with an RTS motor?
No. These switches operate wired 120 V motors. For an RTS motor, a wireless wall switch such as the Smoove or the DecoFlex does the same job, with no wiring.
Single-pole or double-pole?
Single-pole to operate one motor, double-pole to operate two, according to Somfy's diagrams.
Is the wall plate included?
No, Somfy sells it separately.
